Companies hiring this week Posted: 07 Feb 2012 09:11 AM PST On Friday, the Bureau of Labor Statistics released its monthly employment report, and the news was good: The economy added 247,000 jobs in January, and the unemployment rate dropped to 8.3 percent, the lowest it’s been in three years. Perhaps even better news is that employment seems to be growing across a variety of industries: Professional and business services, health care, retail and hospitality are just a few of the fields that grew last month.
