Job Search Tip
"Look for Jobs on Facebook"
Company recruiters are using Facebook to find talent? Yup. It appears to be a growing trend.
According to an article in
Forbes, companies are beginning to use Facebook because the social network boasts 750 million users (translated: potential employees). It's very expensive to advertise job openings on paid websites or in newspapers. More and more employers are realizing they can reach millions of people free of charge by advertising positions on their Facebook pages.
Don't forget that if you are planning to apply for jobs via Facebook (or LinkedIn for that matter), your own profile page must be up to snuff!
